Support friends of the Garden City Library

The Friends of The Garden City Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2017. We are staffed entirely by volunteers from the community and have no paid staff.

Friends’ purpose is to secure gifts, endowments and sponsor functions for the financial support of the Garden City Library. All personal and corporate charitable donations given to the Friends are tax deductible. We support the idea that a library is a valuable community asset that needs nourishment above its set budget.

The mission of the Friends of the Garden City Library is to enhance our community’s most family-friendly resource by providing financial and volunteer support that will have a positive impact on the library and its patrons.

Books

Small donations of gently used or new books and movies may be brought to the circulation desk.  Please contact the librarian for larger donations.

Monetary

Monetary donations made to the Friends of the Garden City Library are tax deductible.
